my mum doesn't trust any of my friend she doesn't let me go or have any sleep overs!
i have been crying a river now because it's my best m8's birthday and she is having a sleepover and i am invited but my mum woun't let me go.

dmbabie answered Thursday June 28 2007, 5:30 pm: talk to your mom, explain to her how you feel. let her know what the game plan is. what are you guys going to do? give her a number where she can reach you. also, although this kinda sucks, you can have your mom talk to the adult at the house where you are going to be staying. a parent, or guardian, whatever it may be. this might help your mom feel better about letting you sleep out. good luck!

Cux answered Thursday June 28 2007, 4:52 pm: Tell your mom all the reasons you think you should be able to go. Make sure its at a time when she is calm, like at dinner or something. At mature when you ask her why she won't let you go. Don't act whiny and cry [not to be rude, but I'm just making a point]. Showing maturity will be a definite plus.
If you are 15 or 16, tell your mom that you think you are old enough to be able to hang out with friends and go to a sleepover.
