lately, my tongue has been peeling. i burned my tongue really bad on realllllyy hot hot chocolate, but that was like a month ago, so i dont think thats why. it doesnt hurt or anything, but what could it be from and is it bad?

But sometimes peeling occurs without any provocation. If you also have bad breath and a bad taste in your mouth you can purchase a tonge scraper and use it daily. It's important you see a doctor because a peeling tongue is a major sign of tongue cancer. Thats mainly if it's in one area. The main symptons of tongue cancer are pain while eatting, lump in your neck, lump on your tongue, and tongue pain. I don't mean to scare you, and it's unlikely it's tongue cancer. But it's important you see a doctor as soon as you can! Good luck! :)
