how to say no!

i know guys don't like girls refusing to go out with them, but how do i say no, with out hurting themn too bad! or how do i say no with them still being my friend, with out sayign, "i don't want to go out with you! but i want to be your friend!" i'm so sick of that excuse! i've gone with a lot of people, because it is hard to say no, but letely i have been truthful, and the next time i see them its so weird! i reall need to know, and fast please! thanks so much, xo_xoxx

Well I am personally on the other side of this situation. I guess I could tell you what I would like to hear. "I really like you as a friend, but I just don't see us as more than that.. I mean our friendship is really important to me and I don't want to screw it up, if you understand."
