well...there is this guy that my friend is trying to set me up with and all and he is really cute but i havnt really talked to him but he seems sweet...well the thing is i need some pointers on how to talk to him and what to say...and also is it wrong to want to start liking him so i can stop liking another guy that i have liked for over a year and a half???pleeze help me!!1thanx <3333

You can't really make yourself stop liking some guy no matter how hard you try to. Sometimes there are these guys you find that are basically perfect, but they're just not perfect for you, i.e. the guy your friend is trying to set you up with. If you want to go out with him too, then that's great, but if after your date you still don't really like him as any more than a friend, you have to be honest with yourself and him. If you like this other guy, you should go for that. You only get what you settle for, and you're not going to be happy settling for second best.
But, then again, you might even like him better after you get to know him better. You'll just have to go out with him to find out. If you're not feeling it after date two, then say something. And I say date two instead of date one, because people are nervous usually on their first date, so they act a little off but if you give each other a second chance then you could really like the guy that he actually is.
