oh, definitely watch mtv's my super sweet sixteen. of course, a small percentage of people can afford to do that, but you can improvise off of that. i saw one where the girl's party theme was completely all white, and it was so pretty! others were luau, polynesian, cinderella's castle, and just different stuff. there is actually a new episode on tonight at like 7 or 8 eastern time. i will definitely be watching it. anyway, if i were you, get a sheet of paper and if you watch the show, write down all the things you like/dislike about that girl's party and then maybe you can get ideas for your party. make sure that your party theme is something that you absolutely love, and that you won't get tired of by this december! it might help to google party themes. but my super sweet sixteen throws the best parties. it would be good if you had a dj so that people could dance and stuff. you don't really have to have a band or performer as long as you have some form of music! i hope it goes really well!

Girl, a party bus does sound like a lot of fun! I wish I had one! But I guess it depends on where you live and if you live somewhere that you can show off... You could rent out the ballroom of a hotel (if you have the money like that) and make it like a prom type thing... I'm pretty sure you've seen the show on MTV and we all don't have lives like that! But you could kinda improvise off of what they did... have a theme to your party: white party (like P.Diddy), Luau with lai's and everything... stuff like that. Have one of your family members or friends that are older be a D.J... serve finger foods and plenty of punch (nothin alcoholic lol) and have an area where people can take pictures or have someone going around taking picture of the whole thing... have a guestbook made up where ppl can sign their names, that way you know who was there... even if its gonna be in your house, you can still make it turn out awesome! email me and let me know if you need anymore help: poetic_angel86@yahoo.com

Good luck and let me know how it goes! :)
