how do i become more witty? more funny?

for witty, you might want to read amazing books where the characters are witty and use some of their dialect, or perhaps, hang out with a few witty people and it might rub off a little.

I've been told I'm pretty funny and witty, and that was at a really young age (like 8 or so) I guess it was because my family is naturally funny. We joke around a lot. But if your family isn't like this, you can watch comedy central or youtube madtv skits. also listening to comedians- my favorites are dane cook and jim gaffigan- even watching funny movies. Pick up some jokes and recite them to your friends. I hope this helps =]
