a guy i really like we just broke up and i dont know why.

what should i do if there is this guy that i really like and we dated for almost a month and things were going really well then he broke up with me and never really gave me a reason why. We still talk on aim like nothing happend and i havnt gotton the courage up to call him yet, but should i get him in person and talk to him and find out what happend with us?? or should i just let it be and just be friends with him??
