Secondlife players?

Well this may be a stupid question to ask on here but still worth a shot. Well there's this game called secondlife i play on the computer. there are 3 types of membership and im a basic free one. so i was wondering anyone who plays or knows about secondlife is there any possible way for a basic account to own land? i know you have to be premium to own it but iread there was a way like group own it? well i'm not sure how that works. well hope someone who knows what i'm talking about answers =/.

With a basic account, you can't own land. But if a group leader has a premium, then he can own land and make it public for the group.
