I'm getting a tattoo on my foot on my birthday, I already know what I'm going to get and everything.
My question is, for people who know about them of have one themselves, does the ink run a lot when you get them on your foot, and what did it feel like?

LadyH answered Sunday June 24 2007, 6:30 pm: I have a couple tattoos, but none which are on my foot. I do know someone who got one on their foot though & she described it to be a uncomfortable feeling because her bones would be "vibrating." I can't tell you whether or not it's going to hurt. I know one of my tattoos was pretty uncomfortable & I didn't feel a thing on my second one. Obviously, pain varies per person & the location you're getting it. Just expect it to be uncomfortable. As for ink running - they'll tape seran wrap to it so nothing comes in contact with your tattoo. You will most likely bleed (slightly) & since you have so many super small puncture wounds, that seran wrap will avoid infection (as well as the excessive ink that'll rub off.) You'll probably only have that on for 12 hours or a day. Hope that answered your question! :) [ LadyH's advice column | Ask LadyH A Question ]
