Question Posted Tuesday June 19 2007, 9:06 pm

Hey all:]
My father has a Mercedes Benz, and he was washing his car yesterday. Now, when he goes to turn his car on, it will not have a strong engine, then turn off. It was fine before he washed it. It isnt the battery, and the motor was new.

Any ideas what it could be?
Oh, and he hooked up a fan to blow under the hood of the car, and nothing happened.

thanks=[

Ask UltraTunaMan. He knows his stuff about cars.

I don't know much about cars, but I believe you should never get the distributor cap wet, if it has one. (I don't even know if all cars have one or not, I just know my dad told me to never get it wet when washing the engine...) But ask UltraTunaMan, Ok? He'll be able to help you! :)
