How Can I Get My Guy Friend To Like Me As More Than a Friend

Question Posted Sunday June 17 2007, 6:48 pm

I have a friend I will call Ben. He is a year older than me. We hang out and talk all of the time. He acts all flirtatious around me, but he told me he only likes me as a friend. I like him as more than a friend. What should I do?

I think that you should just keep being friends. You wouldnt want to make your friendship seem awkward, would you? I would just stick to the status quo for the moment, but if things change, then you can tell him how you really feel.

Did you tell him that you like him more than a friend? Because he might be scared that you dont like him back. Maybe ask him if he is sure he only likes you as a friend.
