Tampons

Question Posted Sunday June 17 2007, 6:09 pm

Is there a difference in the size of tampax satin (for beginners) and tampax pearl lites?
I'm a beginner and just not sure at all what to get. Also, are there any other small tampons?

I don't think there is a difference, but I would go for the satins. Since you've just got your period, you wouldn't need any type of tampon other than the ones for beginners. Your flow might not even be large enough for a "lite" tampon.

There aren't any smaller tampons, but there are small pads. And always wear a pantiliner when wearing a tampon because it doesn't always absorb all the blood. =)
