maybe it would be a good idea to get your other cat a new friend. your cat is grieving the death too and she needs something to ease her pain. im sorry about your cat, i really am. i think the best thing to do for you and your cat is to find a new friend. look at a local shelter. they always have great ones.

It is completely normal to feel pain after losing a beloved pet. My dog died in February and I still burst into tears every time I see her picture or find some of her hair while I'm cleaning.

I don't know if you have a religion or not, but I myself believe in heaven and it always makes me feel better knowing that I will see my dog again someday after I die.

Just focus on the happy times you had with her and assure yourself that your cat is in a better place. I don't know how your cat died, but be greatful that she isn't suffering anymore.

Maybe your other cat just needs a new companion to keep her company. The new addition to the family will keep her busy and she'll be happier.
