Freshman year of high school I was going into a new school and didn't have a lot of friends, but I got a few within the first couple weeks.I just got more and more in and out of school, including people I hadn't talked to in a while.Summer was great, but by the end of it I sort of abruptly stopped talking to people as much.It really hit me at a party when I was sort of sitting around while everyone was mingling. It got worse and I ended up talking to hardly anyone, and I don't think I hung out with anyone for the entire year.So Summer's here, and even though it just started...things don't seem any different.I don't want my summer to be like last year, and I REALLY don't know what I'll do if my Junior year goes the same way as last year.
What can I do to get back with my old friends,or make some new ones?

Make an effort to call all those people you stopped talking to and try to get closer with them again. Invite them over for a movie night or something. I'm sure they'd be excited to start seeing you again. When you do contact them, point out that you've been pretty busy, but you miss them and you'd like to start hanging out again.
You could also make new friends by joining a summer sport or getting a job. Both are great ways to make new friends.

Theres nothing wrong with trying to ressurrect a friendship. It can definitly be worth it in the long run, but that DOES NOT mean that you shouldn't make new friends.
I mean you really cant have too many friends! its always good to have a alot of people you can call just to talk or spend some time together. It totally pays in the end :D
