Designer clothing is normally high fashion. Names like Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Prada, etc. all display their fashions on runway. Name brand is normally sold in stores in mass production to the public such as hollister or abercrombie.

A&F and Lucky are name brand. They're less than designer, but you still pay for the label. Designer clothes are the top fashion stuff. Like Chanel and Louis Vuitton.
