I have the chocolate and it is the WORST phone I've EVER had. You need to buy a memory card for music and then buy a cord to plug it into your computer. You have to download the V-Cast program to your computer and it makes it really slow.

Pros:
Music player
Easy texting
Easy to find what you're looking for

Cons:
Scratches VERY easy (layed it down on my kitchen floor and when I picked it up it had scratches all over it and I didn't even move it)
Can't use it while it's on its charger because it will mess the phone up
Sometimes when you answer the phone the other person can't hear you for about 20 seconds
The phone doesn't ring sometimes (doesn't have to do with service)
Touch keypad is sometimes a few seconds behind

Overall this phone is horrible if you're impatient, want to get things done fast, or clumsy.

EDIT: It could cost anywhere between 40 and 70 dollars. It depends on where you buy it. You could get the memory card and cord off Ebay in good condition for cheap if you wanted to.

If you want to have music, then yes, you have to buy the music package. As for pros and cons;

Some Pros;
- you can have music
-you get great service( or at least i do)
-takes good quality pictures nd videos
-easy to use and figure out
-unlike an iPod you can hear music with out headphones so all your friends can listen with you, if you want.
- there are a lrge seltion of ringtones you can buy or you can recored your own.
-the fact that it is a slider is nice, it makes answering and useing the phone easier.

A Few Cons;
- the buttons are a little close together so its kind of hard to type out text msgs sometimes
-If you want to record videos you can oly record for 15 seconds at a time.
- if you dont set the touch pad to the sensitivity that is just right for you it can get really annoying
-the end of the phone chager tends to bend/break easily so be very gentle with it.
- the only headphones you can use are the kind that come in the music package.

Hope this helps, Enjoy Your New Phone!
