okay, hi, im a proffesional makeup artist, and i suggest first covering your face in a foundation 2 times lighter than your skin tone, ive found that MAC Liquid foundation works the best because it contains SPF 15, but if your on a budget, any good rimmel foundation will do.
After you've covered your entire face and neck in foundation, apply a loose powder, the same colour as your foundation, to your face to give yourself a matte look. Invest in a tan blusher, and an estee lauder makeup brush, and sweep the blusher only onto your cheek bones, this blusher should be 2 shades darker than your natrual skin tone. After this, pink/red blusher can be applyed over the top of the tan blusher, starting from your ear, sweeping down to the direction of your mouth.

Next move onto your eyebrows, depending on your hair colour, pencil in your eyebrows in a darker shade than your natrual colour (if your eyebrows are dark, pencil in as your natrual colour, not darker.)

EYES: depending on your skin tone and hair colour, not all eyeshadows will work for you, but if you wear colours, like browns, whites and blacks, your eyes will stand out and 'pop'.
First off, buy a professional makeup brush, and sweep a white (the lightest colour)eyeshadow over your lids and brow bone. also make sure you apply a little bit of white eyeshadow onto the corner of your eye (near the nose) and underneath the eye near the tearduct.
Next, i would apply a grey (a darker colour) eyeshadow underneath your eye, close to the eye, do not do a fat line underneath your eye, keep it minimal, and also apply the grey in the middle of the eye and to the outer corner of the eyelid.
Next apply a black (the darkest colour) eyeshadow on only the outer corner of your eye. and on the outer corner underneath the eyelid.
Get a clean shading makeup brush, and blend the white to the grey, and then the grey to the black (THERE SHOULD NOT BE A SOLID LINE DIVIDING EACH COLOUR).

Liquid eyeliner can be hard to apply, but practise makes perfect. for beginners i suggest using Collection 2000 fast stroke eyeliner in Black, because the application brush is very easy. start from the inner corner of the eye and in one stroke, sweep out the the outer corner of the eye. NEVER put liquid eyeliner on the underneath of your eyes. just concentrate on the lids to begin with. Liquid eyeliner, is not a must, but, it will make your eyes stand out, and the base of your eyelashes appear darker.

Apply a pencil/kohl eyeliner in black around your eyes. Start at the outer corner of your eyes (it should be thicker here) and sweep the pencil towards your tear duct. People say that eyeliner should never be worn on the insides of the eyes because you may get an infection, i say this is rubbish, and so do all the other makeup artists out there. People also say never go past your tearduct with eyeliner, this is rubbish also. With the black eyeliner, go right to the inner corner of your eye, and follow the inner corner around. This will create a cat shaped eye effect.

I have never curled my eyelashes, but, if you do, theres nothing wrong with that, its just not neccesary for me. Apply a thick coat of black mascara to your top eyelashes and wait for it to dry. then apply another coat. and repeat. to apply mascara to the bottom eyelashes side to side movement are a must. Oh & you can never go wrong with fake eyelashes !

as for your lips, keep them simple because you have heavy eye makeup. apply a natrual pink, or as i do, apply a white powder lipstick. alternativly, just cover them in liquid foundation and apply a clear lipgloss.

hope i helped :) x
