how do i become happy? it seems like everything sucks,my friends dont care (well...i never tell them stuff..but only because i dont want to feel like im complaining) and my family sucks,this town is horrible,and to top it all off im supposed to be going on a feild trip to new york tomarrow,they assigned groups and NONE of my friends are in the group,they're all jerks and annoying =//. i know i sound like i'm complaining,sorry. but how can i over come all this and look on the bright side? how can i become,well..happy?

Why not try and have a more positive attitude? Put yourself out there and meet new people. Join a sport or club you enjoy. Heck, get a job. You'll be introduced to a bunch of new people and you'll be bound to make new friends.

Instead of accusing your current friends of being "annoying," give them a chance. Ask to hang out with them a few times and tell yourself "This will be a lot of fun!" Hanging out with your friends would be a lot better than sitting at home feeling sorry for yourself.

Before you go out and do something, think nothing but positive thoughts and you'll find that the experience is a lot better. If you go around thinking negatively and believing that everything is going to go wrong, then it will. If you think positive, things might be great.

i was depressed... then i got an idea. i saved up a load of money like 1000$ took me like 2 months, and whatever i wanted / wanted to do, i was able to do. i bought some new cool clothes, new hair style, new shoes, ne phone, whatever i wanted. this made me feel happy. also pick up something that will make you feel good and you have to work on like a new sport, football or skateboarding. make some new friends. i find the easiet way to make friends is when ur just starting to know them, get their number. also date and makeout with guys/girls, and that will make u feel good to. also it might be what your eating is affecting you. high carb diet makes you depressed. high protein doesnt. also dont spill it all out in one big go, but when your hanging with your friends, bored, just say something like.... theres not much to do here, its quite boring. Also please do not become emo, theres enough of them already....

ok i can really relate to your situation. because i used to feel the samee exact way i would always say i want new friedns i ahte the ones i had and i hated my whole school/town and all that bull. but like honestly take a step back look at everythign you have. you probley do have the greatest friends imaginable bc i no i do not that i look at them and tell them stuff. and your family just be lucky you have them look at all the kids that dont. like ppl used to always tell me that but then i was thinking about what if my mom died or my dad did think about how you'd feel. and its just one field trip. its not your assigned group for the rest of your life. take the time to be away from your friends bc trust me when your away from them and your with other ppl you dont like you appresiate your friends a hell off alot more. and honestly your friends probley do care. reguardless what they say. and everyones town sucks. mine does its just a little gossip spreading drama town. so i no it looks like you got shit in live but really take a step back and look at what you doooo have instead of what you dont
