It's not that out of the ordinary. Don't feel insecure about it. If you don't want a boyfriend right now, then don't look for one. I'm 17 as well and just recently got my first REAL boyfriend and experienced my first sexual experiences (not sex, but pretty much everything else).

Maybe the fear of being touched is a psychological issue. Maybe you could see a therapist and see what he has to say. It couldn't hurt, right?

But really, people have things like this. My sister and 2 of her friends can't stand feet. If someone touches their feet or if they accidentally touch someone else's food, they freak out. They're disgusted by it. I also know a girl who can't stand even the thought of someone touching her nose. If she talks about it she constantly plays with it trying to "put it back in place".

Yours doesn't seem as severe, but it could be, I don't know you. Try not to worry about it too much right now. It could pass, and if it doesn't, then therapy may help. :)
