A BOYFRIEND vs BEST FRIEND PROBLEM!

I am a female and fifteen years old, and i need help! you see there is this guy who likes me. He uis a total hotttie and a sweet guy too! the problem is that one of my best friends has already gone out with him for two years! Is there anyway to get around this WITHOUT hurt my friend? i love my friend and i really like this guy!
What should i do?

Is she still going out with him? If so, then its a no. If she isnt, I would run it by her, and just ask her if it is okay. She will probably say yes, so go for it :]
