what is the origin of the last name 'bakun' ? like you know how brown is typically an african-american last name? anything? even a continent? i'll take ANYTHING!

I did a quick search on some of the genealogy websites, and found that most people with that last name came from Poland, Russia or Lithuania. So it appears to orginate in north-eastern europe. If that is your last name and you want to find out for sure exactly where your ancestors are from, I can help you. Just send me a private message.
