I heard that pantene products damage your hair in the long run...

is this true??

yes. they get rid of all your natural oils so it ends up making your hair really dry in the long run. i would stick with products like garnier fructis and any john frieda products. =]

I don't think so. I've used them for years. Then again I've used nine kinds of shampoo at once, and my hair hasn't fallen out yet.


It's been around for a really long time- if there was something wrong with the formulation, we would have caught on by now.


Only thing about Pantene is that the shampoos [conditioners especially] are rather thick, and you have to be certain that you've washed everything out. That could make your hair look greasy and yucky if you don't- but any brand'll do that if you leave it in.
