Oh girl. You and me need to be doing lunges and squats. As for cardio (essential, don't let anyone tell you otherwise) I totally recommend walking on the treadmill at an incline, raise it by 2 every 3 minutes and keep at it for 30 minutes. Interval training is also what Jessica Simpson used to get in shape for her Daisy Duke role. That means jogging/walking intervals every 5 minutes or so.

Lunges:
- alternating legs, holding 3-5 lb weights and curling as you do each lunge
- one leg at a time, holding 3-5 lb weights at your sides

Squats:
- you can just do 2 sets of 30 squats OR
- do squats holding a bar behind your neck or using 3-5 lb weights at your sides

For overall toning in your butt and legs and arms I also like to do yoga. There's a great program at 6am ET on Oxygen called Inhale. Or you can download Yoga to the People for free on iTunes and listen to it on your computer or iPod.
