i was best friends with this guy (i mean we did everything together hung out like every day) and we ended up having a thing for each other the whole time. finally months later he asked me out and we were both extremely happy cause we like each other alot but problem is he is going to college now and im a senior in hs. i saw it coming but he broke up with me bc he knows he shouldnt be in a relationship when he is going to college and will be meeting lots of girls. we still really like each other but idk what to do. i totally understand the situtation and im not asking for a relationship with him but i still want us to be "talking". is that a bad idea and cause me to just get more attached to him? i DO NOT want to lose him bc he is my best friend and someone i like so much.. and how do i get him to keep his feelings for me and not forget about me?? what should i do?

You should start seeing other people and maybe in the future after college, something will come about with the two of you... but dont get your hopes up!
If he says he doesnt want to be friends, then just give him some time, maybe call him in a month of so to see how hes doing
