ipod
so i have an ipod nano that i just got for christmas. ive had no problems with it at all. yesterday i was listening to it and i skipped to the next song, and it just stopped. in the top left corner it shows the little 'play' symbol, but the time stays on 00:00. when i manually fast forward it, it moves until i stop then does the same thing and stays in place. ive paused/played it several times, ive turned it off and on, and still the same thing. and its doing it for every song. whats the deal?
oh and please put it in simple terms, i dont speak ipod very well =]

First, try plugging it in and see if it works after that.
If not, reset your ipod.
Here's how:
Toggle the 'hold' switch back and fourth a few times. Then, hold down where it says 'menu' and the circle in the middle at the same time, but don't press too hard. (you have to be holding them down at the same time for it to work) Keep holding it down until the screen shows the apple sign, and it should work fine.
If you need to clarify any of this, just ask.

restart your ipod:
hold the middle button and menu. hold it down until the apple logo shows up. in a couple of seconds the apple logo will disappear and you will be back to your main menu.
