does anyone know if you can test for your california leaner`s permit online ? or do you have to take it at the dmv ?

you have to take it at the dmv. otherwise, you would be able to look up answers, or even get somebody else to take the test for you. at the dmv, they fingerprint you and you have to sign stuff. you also have to show your social security card/passport/sometimes even birth certificate. so that way, they make sure it is you taking the test and getting your permit.

you probably have to take it at the dmv..
because otherwise you could look online or at your notes for the answers.. which would be cheating
