i'm really sorry (and yes, all of these ti-83 questions are me!), but i DO have just one more question.

i did that. exactly. i did EXACTLY as they said it.
okay. well, everything works fine... except, when i type in:
prgrmQUADFORM
A=?2
B=?3
C=?4
i get
ERR:SYNTAX
1:QUIT
2:Goto
not "NO REAL SOLUTIONS" like the site said i would
does the same thing happen for you?
what step are they missing?
or, perhaps, i made a simple typo? which i doubt i did..

can you select "goto" at the error and tell me which line it opens at? that should be wherre the problem is.
also, if you select "a+bi" under mode, theres no need for the "no real solutions" part since your calculator will be able to show imaginary answers.
