Thunder/God

Question Posted Tuesday May 15 2007, 1:21 pm

I finally came-to last night. Like, I had doubted for a long time, but last night I woke up and realized and fully believe in God now. I accepted Jesus into my heart. And, this morning, since like EARLY it has been raining HARD and thundering and lightening bad. Could this have anything to do with my experience last night?

Oh, and let me add: It just started hailing. Ironic, eh? What's the deal?.

congradulations!! I'm really proud of you. It's really hard to turn back once you get off the path. (eww...cliche) i dont think that it's a sign or anything. But way to go, you should be proud of yourself.

Sincerely,
Jazzifizzle

first off i want to say way to go. not many people can do that. I think the raining and thunder was probably just a concidence. But you never know. God works in mysterious ways so i really dont have the right answer, but maybe hes trying to tell you something. just pray about it, and he will open your eyes to what he wants to show you. :]

Do not think of it as a bad thing. Maybe it was a sign, saying you should just keep on believing. My first epiphany of God happened w/ a horrible thunder storm it kept me up all night. I sat in my bed asking God to make it go away (I thought I was going to die!). He didn't make it go away but all of a sudden I got a rush of good "vibes" like hey maybe its God celebrating or expressing himself so , maybe I should listen?! The thunder seemed to quiet and I found myself being soothed and relaxed, I slept like a baby. God wants you to have faith in him that everything is going to be alright. I hope everything works out for you and that maybe I helped!

Sorry if I sound like a hippy?!

Hate to break it to you, but that's a coincidence. Congratulations on finding God though!
