Being cool
What are some good ways to be cool in high school?? I was just wondering about this question for some time. I mean what does the word cool mean? And how do people identify it when they see it exactly? Its just been on my mind for some time. Does it mean acting bored and dont care what people say or think?

Honestly. Cool means different things to everyone. To some people, the cool kids are the ones that drive brand new cars, wear only the best designer clothes, jet off to the islands on the weekends. To some, cool kids are the kids that attend all of the local rock shows and wear heavy eyeliner. Some people think cool means being the star on the basketball team. It really just depends on who you are asking. Now, if you are asking me... I think the coolest people I know are those that honestly don't let what others think of them get in the way of their lives. The really confident ones. That is an admirable quality to have =)

This is a question I hear TONS of people ask every day. But first things first. BE YOURSELF. Don't ever change yourself to please others or make others like you. If they don't like you for who you are..then they are not a true friend! Also,always keep your faith in God and share it with others. I understand how sometimes people will act different around you because you are a christian..because it has happened to me before. But always stand up for your faith and i guarantee someone with apreciate you for it in the long run! And people will see how you live and there will be people who want to be JUST LIKE YOU.

well... the word cool has several meanings. but i think i know what your looking forr. lmao.
well you should always be yourself. and really people don`t notice it. just be friendly, get into school, and don`t really care what people say about you. cuz most of the time they are jealous. TRUE? TOTALLY. always walk around with your head on your shoulders ( duh!...do you get it? ). don`t let same things get to you. it`s their opinnon so let them have it.

Honestly- why do you want to be "cool"? All the "cool" people are the people who call themselves the popular people and they end up drinking and smoking weed and having sex and dumb thinks like that. Doing these things ruins your life- so why would you want to be like that?
If you're just asking what is "cool"- then "cool" is what people make it. I think "cool" is someone who is willing to stand up for what they believe in, even if it isn't popular by everyone's standards. Cool people in my eyes study hard and care about their education. Yes- you could label me a geek, dweeb, loser, etc. but honestly- that's what matters. That, and enjoying time with your friends.
So- be yourself and don't fall to peer pressure. Don't make it your life goal to be accepted by the "cool" people- because trust me- I've been there and it isn't worth it- they just end up hurting you.

First of all, you should always be yourself.
No matter what, dont start doing things you wouldnt do with one clique, if you think one clique is cool, then try to be like them. but not changing your personality. Wear bright colors, making people notice you.
