make-up for a black girl.
im black.. not too light or too dark. and i've always wanted to wear make up but my mom doesn't use it, and I think I can do better than what my sister uses for make-up. what colors are good on black girls like me? do you have any pictures you can show me of some people with the make up? like what color eyeshadows and blush look good on me?
im 13 though so i dont really like all that foundation stuff. but whats another way for me to not put too much make up but still look cuter than i am when i'm natural (which I am all the time.. when i put on mascara you barely even notice, too). what types of make up should i use that arent too pricey and where can i buy them from? also how do i wear them?
idk how to do all that stuff.. i wish someone taught me but even alot of the good friends I have arent in the same position, or like don't wear make up or something. i wanna have the edge.. and like look like a girl who knows how to put on her make up! Lol thanks

well i know you said you dont really like foundation,you should try the Dream matte Mouse foundation..you can get it for dark skin and it doesnt look like your caked in make-up like some girls can look,it just makes your skin look soft and blemish-free!its really nice!!As far as eyes go there's a lot you can do..If eye shadows dont work then experiment with liquid eyeliners!Keep away from the usual brown and black liquid eyeliners for your skin because mascara wont stand out at all then!Try the GOSH range of liquid eyeliner..pick watever colours you like or depending on what clothes you are wearing.Stroke a thin line of it on top of your eyelids just above your eyelashes..Then after using a curling brush on your lashes apply some mascara..Use a few coats if it doesnt stand out!You should be able to see it more clearly with the eye-liner on top!
