shrinking brushes on photoshop

Um some brushes I downloaded are really huge like the picture I'm making is like half the sze of this brush that I'd like to use. Is there any way I can like shrink the size of the brush so I can use it?

I have adobe photoshop 6.0

Right click on the image and there is a scale that you can resize it on. Or you can go to the top toolbar where you see the brush you're using and do the same things. :)
