Conserned about marital relation
My name is Ivi,I am from South america. I am married for 8 yrs to an anglo gentleman. I am not sure what is wrong with my husband because he is not interested in having sex with me. He is 50 and I am 37. We haven't made it for 1 yr and 9 months.I hurt for this situation, I even asked him why not of having sex and he will say oh because the dogs are in the way (they sleep in my bed since day 1 for 8 yrs.) or I'm tired'
I sugested counseling and he refuses. At times I feel as if he thinks that I am an object in the house, he ignores me.
Pls tell me what you think?

I think your husband really needs to see a doctor. He may be scared to but this could be a medical problem. Diabetes, for one can cause him not to be interested.
I don't know how you could talk him into going. If it isn't a medical problem, you do need some counseling. You are still a young woman, not ready to give up sex yet! I do think the dogs and being tired are just an excuse.
You could try making a candlelight dinner just for the two of you. Make the dogs stay in another room for a while and see if it helps. If it doesn't then you will have to decide if you can live this way anymore. Talk to him about it. Let him know what you are feeling. Tell him he has to do this for YOU, if he doesn't want to do it for himself.
