Talking to crush at school?
I'm a sophomore and so is the guy I like...and so its a long story, but I'll make it as short as possible...a couple of weeks ago, i added this boy to myspace. i had seen him at school before looking at me and stuff...anyways, so he messaged me and we started talking...we talked on myspace and then AIM and then he gave me his number over AIM and told me to text him. so i did and yeah...he's basically told me he has a crush on me and i basically told him i had a crush on him. well, we still don't really talk at school, only online and texting. We usually say hi to each other when we see one another, but thats about it. So today at lunch he saw me passing with my friend and said "where are you guys going?" and i just smiled and shrugged [ugh, i know. soooooo stupid] and he goes "oh. i see how it is" and then just sorta laughed and kept looking at me. [ah, i feel so dumb]. and so then right before the end of 5th period i texted him asking if we could talk after class. he said "why?" and i said "just cuz". after class, i went outside and didnt see him, so i just left to my other class [again, yeah, i'm stupid] and he texted me and said "thnks for waiting?" and i said that i hadnt seen him and i thought he didnt want to talk. so he goes "wow ok". and yeah...now i just feel really really dumb. sorry this is so long, but i really want to know if i sound retarded [lol] and i want to know how to fix it...i REALLY want to talk to him at school, but there's always a lot of people around. either his friends or my friends are with us, and i feel dumb, but i know i need to get over it. HELP!?

Okay, you didn't sound stupid exactly, just sort of nervous. If you want my opinion, which you obviously do, since you already know that you both like each other, why don't you just ask him out. He already said he had a crush on you, so of course he would want to get to know you better. Ask him out, either in person, in text, email or aim. Just don't be a chicken and do it.
