Lately for about a month or maybe a little more I've had golden-yellowish discharge. Is it normal? Am I getting my period soon? I'm shy about that kind of stuff so I don't want to go to a family member or doctor.
FrEe2bMe answered Thursday May 3 2007, 8:25 pm: It is completely normal to have discharge, but it shouldn't really be a golden-yellow color--especially for a month or more. Make sure you are wiping completely after using the restroom and wearing cotton undies at night. You probably have a UTI or a Yeast Infection. The best way to know is to go to the doctor. They are over-the-counter medicines you can take like Monostat to help this, but the most effective way is to go to the doctor and get an antibiotic. Also, if you have a year infection, cranberry juice and yogurt are known to help. You'll be fine though; lots of girls get this. :) [ FrEe2bMe's advice column | Ask FrEe2bMe A Question ]
