Legal Repercussions

Started dating 22 year old. We met when I was hanging out iwth some older friends, he assumed i was their age. I told him after we started dating so i know he is not intentionally dating underage...my only real concern now is the legal repercussions. I'm in VA, where the age of consent is 18. He is in MD, where it is 16. We are not having sex but i think the law also implicates just kissing, pda, etc. unless i'm wrong? So should i only try and see him in MD/DC where it is legal for us to? But then again, there are also laws, contributing to the delinquincy of a minor or something, that makes it illegal to cross state boarders with people of legal age...can't find anything case specific online.

Moving on. I live in VA, too, and I believe that as long as you guys do not participate in a sexual activity of any sort, you're safe. But don't take my word for it. But I don't think anybody will report you because since you're close to 17, you'll look old enough to have PDA with an older man. =)
