ipod - laptop.
k well i just got a laptop, and i wanna put my itunes on it.
right now its on like my desktop, but like if i download itunes on my laptop then plug my ipod in will the songs get deleted?
or what will i have to do.

the same thing happened to me, and unless there is anyway to prevent the songs getting erased, then yes. When you plug your ipod into a new itune with no songs, a box will pop up and say something like, "iTunes has detected that this is not the itunes for your ipod. Would you like to convert all the songs from itunes onto the ipod?" you can pick yes or no. If you pick yes, all your songs will get erased.
My suggestion would be to burn all the songs from your current itunes onto CD's and download them into your new itunes. Hope I helped =]
