how do i make the pic low resolution?

I have photos that I want to put on the net from a CD, but they are in high resolution...how do I turn them into low resolution?

If you have photoshop, you can go to File>Save to Web and change the image size. If not, then try getting GIMP (it's free!) and see how that works out.
