I really like this kid named Mat but he has a girlfriend. They have been dating for A LONG TIME! Were friends but nothing more =[...I don't think I am ready for a boyfriend but idk I'm really confused!! One day I'm like: Yeah I want one and another day I am like: No, I'm not ready yet!
Will I ever be ready? Am I ever going to get a boyfriend? I'm not ready for the breakup part, but I said maybe next year (when I am in 8th grade) (im 13) Please help!!

I used to be like that too! I'd use to really like a guy then a few days later be like .. nah i'm not ready for one.
and the answer is you WILL be ready for one soon! Its kinda of scary thikning about the break up and your not sure what its like having one but you'll soon learn to just forget about that. But even people older who have already had boyfriends think they are still not ready for one again. Its mostly a phase that people go though, sometimes once and sometimes over and over again.
When you become really confident and comfortable about your self is most likely when you'll be fully ready.

well i think that you should maybe wait a while if your thinking twice about it. because break ups arent fun. trust me ive been their. if something does happen between yall, make sure you dont get to attached to him i had to learn that the hard way because im not over a guy and its been FOREVER. just talk to him and just be good friends with him for know and wait to see what happens :] good luck babe <3
