During the cold months, I have problems with dry skin, including my lips. The best thing I found to work was Blistex.
I never tried the Vaseline, so I can't tell you if it works, but I'm sure it does. I never tried it because my lips absorb the Blistex, but I would figure Vaseline would make them greasy.

VASALINE. amazing stuff.
i think it comes in a little tube,
and it comes in a plastic box too.
at night, apply vasaline and your
lips will be great the next day!
also keep that little tube with
you. it should work! hope i helped
and good luck with it!

DON"T USE CARMEX! carmex is for cold sores and stuff like that, its designed to DRY your lips so the cold sores etc... will go away. I suggest getting some lib balm with shea butter in it, that really helps to moisturize. i reccommend Blistex Lip Moisture:

use that and your lips will get better in no time! you might also want to put some moisturizer on the skin around your lips (not lip balm, because it has too much oil and will possibly make your skin break out)

hope i helped =>
