hey

hm... well it all depends on the girl. like if she likes you, it's obvious cause she'll flirt with you, smile a lot, stare at you, do things to get your attention like ask you what you got on a test, etc. not all girls will like you, just like all guys won't like me. so the first question all depends on the girl. my suggestion is to not be forward with her. like if you like a girl, don't suddenly start talking about things & ask her for her sn / number & ask her to hang out all in the same week! super major turn off - to me at least.

just do small talk at first with her, like, "so, go anywhere for spring break?" or, "man i wish i did better on this test! what did you get?" this is a lot easier to do if you have a class with her. it might be sorta awkward if you guys don't have any classes together. it's also okay if she doesn't sit near you. but don't stare at her ALL the time. like sometimes it's okay, she'll like it.

how to keep a conversation going? ask her about herself. like, the perfect way to start out, as i listed above, was to just ask her how she did on a test / quiz. then, start out with more personal questions, like siblings, hobbies. if you have one of your guyfriends sitting near you, say to him (while she's listening) "yo man you never go on AIM (or whatever instant messenger you use) anymore..." & casually ask her for her sn. she'll probably give it to you, unless she's a total butthead, in which case you shouldn't even be thinking about her. but most-likely, she's not :]

what's important to a girl? errmm a little vague, but do you mean what does she like in a guy or in a relationship? first off, all girls are different. if you go on advicenators a lot, you probably have heard this dozens of times. so i'll be more precise. all girls are different, but MOST girls like a guy to not ONLY think she's hot, but for her personality as well. MOST girls like guys who will bother to go out of their way for her, & ask her about herself. girls like being flattered with gifts, etc. when in a relationship. they like surprise gifts (most girls anyway) & don't just wanna date a guy for the physical stuff, like hotness & boobs. ha so just make sure you dont rush into things unless you are posssitive she digs you.

i'm assuming you already like a girl, so my suggestion is to talk to her a little bit & always sound friendly. but don't rush into it too fast. i know you're gonna wanna keep talking to her & just ask her for her sn & hang out with her / ask her out, already! but that might just freak her out, especially if she doesn't like you right now. say hi to her in the hallways, smile at her (not too much though) and just look at her from across the room for a few seconds. most girls love that.

i hope i answered your question & good luck with the girl :]
