can you go to the control panel -> add / remove programs -> and uninstall ipod linux?

what features does ipod linux include?

i have a 1gb ipod nano

No, you can't uninstall it like that. Ipod linux is an operating system for your ipod, like windows is for your computer. When you install it, everything on your ipod will be deleted, and there's no way to get it back. This includes your songs and ipod's normal operating system. Itunes may not work with your ipod after this, but I'm not sure. Your ipod will be able to play videos, some games, and some audio formats the ipod wouldn't normally be able to play. Overall, you should install it only if you're technically capable, and willing to live with the risk of permanently ruining your ipod.
