so basically one of my friends told me that this guy named joey liked me, he is extremeley smart, good looking and a year older than me (im 16) and my friend told me that he wants to ask me out for two reasons 1. he kinda likes me 2. there is this girl named bridget same age as he who also likes him and wants joey to ask her out but joey does not want to go out with her and so he wants to ask me out so maybe bridget would back off. I like joey but i also like this guy 18 m phil. He is incredibly good looking and he is a girl magnet, i thought he liked me because he kept on flirting with me last year and this year but my sister told me he does that to all girls and he also smokes a lot (for me thats a turnoff). I want to go out with joey but i don't want to get in a fight with bridget about it because my friend told me that he wants me to go with the plan that if joey asks me out i would say yes, but i actually do like him but i just dont want bridget to get mad at me, i don't want to talk to bridget because im not that close with her shes just in a couple of my classes, but i dont want to say no to the offer either and then theres phil... what should i do?

That's hard. I had the same problem last year. Their was a guy named Jake and he liked me I also lked him but I liked Mitchell more. Jake liked me and didnt want to go out with Paige( a girl who was a friend of mine). I decided to go out with Jake and it lasted 9 months. But throughout 6 of those Paige was trying to break us up. She moved away and I broke up with Jake because he never talked to me.( If you like Joey go out with him but if you like Phil go out with him) DO WHAT YOUR HEART TELLS YOU!!!

if i were you, i'd go with joey. if he likes you, bridget shouldn't be a problem, and since you like him too, you should give him a chance. it desn't sound so much like he's using you to get rid of bridget, but more like it just happens to be a bonus if you went out with him.
as for phil, it sounds like you're mainly just attracted to him physically. being a "player" & smoking... that's not cool. that just screams "HEARTBREAK, JUST WAITING TO HAPPEN!"
still, i don't know any of you, so i can't judge. just saying it the way it sounds to me, but do what you feel is right.

from what i get phil is fine because he has no complications. the 18 year old, he sounds like a player i wouldent go for him. the one that bridget likes, i dont think theres a problem if you realy like him, you can deal with bridget, you arent close friends anyways. but it does bother me that this boy is only asking you out to get rid of bridget....sounds a bit like hes using you..i dont like that. Phil sounds like the best choice, but follow your heart!
