Alright, well- to say the least, my legs are absolutely hideous. They're white as a ghost, I have spider veins, stretch marks, scars, little black dots where my hair comes out, and HUGEEE thighs. I just hate it.
So, here's the thing. With summer coming, I don't want to be in Bermuda shorts the whole time-that's what I did last year & I felt like a total fool. But, when I did wear shorts or skirts or ANYTHING that revealed the upper thigh, I was totally embarrassed. I want to wear short skirts/shorts and look hot.
Please don't tell me to be happy with the way I am & not to feel like a fool ...
something in that shape will really hide the imperfections and size of your thighs. they're fun and flirty and have the same effects that micromini skirts do without looking like a sleaze. [ ibettershakethis's advice column | Ask ibettershakethis A Question ]
SoccerCutiex3 answered Sunday April 1 2007, 10:59 am: My advice is just shave whenever you get stubble. Also, capris are good too and look cute with flip flops. I'm reaaaally white too, and i have freckles everywhere. If you act like your confident and like your legs, no one will know your uncomfortable with them. As for short skirts, leggings are popular especially with jean skirts. i hope i helped!

It is actually really fun because you feel good after you work out and there is music there and t.v.s there. What I do is work solely on my upper thighs and calves. After three days of going there, (not three days in a row, I go like twice per week), my legs feel so much stronger and I am not as self conscious about people seeing my legs. If you don't have a gym near you, lunges are THE BEST way to go. Do like 10 lunges on each leg every day, and I promise you will be able to run faster than most girls in two weeks. As for the stretch marks, I think there is a cream to get rid of those. Anyways, here is how to do lunges. For your white legs, I feel your pain. I have very fair skin. But, you can easily make them darker. You can go tanning (spray tan or tanning in a booth) or you can buy tanner in spray, wipe, or lotion form. None are expensive, and you can buy some of the stuff at a drug store. Avon tanner works well for me. Tanner will cover some of those spider veins too.
For the little black dots, try waxing or depilatory instead of shaving. It gets the hair completely out, so there wont be any black dots. You can get waxed at a nail salon, or buy waxing stuff/depilatory (like nair) at a drugstore. Thats not very expensive either. If your thighs are huge, work out! Running, swimming, exercising like squats and lunges will really work your thighs.
And stop worrying so much! Most people wont be focusing on your legs, your just insecure. People are probably thinking about how they look bad in what their wearing! So relax :)
peebles7 answered Saturday March 31 2007, 6:21 pm: ok, if i were you this is what i would do
1: get some sort of tanning lotion. not fake tanner, something like jergens lotion, because you will get tan over a week or two and if you keep doing it it will look very real by the time summer rolls around, if you get fake tanner, it will look orange and stupid.
2: when you get tanner, the veins won't be so obvious, and even so you are probably the only person that cares anyway, no one is going to be like "ew i see a vein in her legs"
3: get a bottle of vitamin E (in liquid form) and rub it into the stretch marks and scars every day, as well as some neosporin brank scar gel/cream.
4: get nair or another dilapatory instead of shaving so often. or get a wax. if you don't want to do that then shave everyday with lots of shave gel!
5: pick up running, or atleast jogging. go up hills, skip, jump, and do squats or wall sits.
