account deleting
Sorry its xomegaroni again. Thanks for replying. Basically I was thinking about deleting for quite a few reasons. Do not get me wrong, I really do love this site and have been here for quite awhile. I used to answer questions all the time and at one point this was even my homepage. It is not the same as it used to be though. I see it more as a competition now instead of it being fun and just helping whoever we can. I also noticed that a people do not like me. I switched my email, because i had a few emails from rude columnists. All in all it was frusterating, because it bothers me when anyone, whoever they are, dislikes me. I did some thinking and I thought that it would probably be a bad idea to quit. This is because I recruited people to join the site after I did and when I talked to them about it, if I went so would they. I would not want to do that to this site, because that's not one or two columnists, but quite a few. The best thing would be for me to is think it through and in the meantime answer the questions to the best of my ability and ignore the drama. I'll see how it goes. Sorry for making this long, as we all know you are very busy. Thanks for your dedication to the site.

What I WISH my e-mail was used for is resolving things like this.
Forget about how busy I am, we are talking about YOU here. If you quit something every time somebody doesn't like you, or is rude to you, you will have a very sad life. Nobody wants that.
I used to be like that... believe it or not. I can't tell you how many things I didn't do for the reasons you listed!
The point where it turned for me was when someone told me the truth:
"If you let them win, they run your life... forever. Whatever thing that you find to do that makes you happy, they will find you there and destroy it for you. All you have to do to take control of your life forever, is shrug it off, toughen up a bit, and be nice to them... they hate that."
I can tell you RIGHT this very minute that this works. Guaranteed.
Also, if someone from the site is harassing you, send me the full e-mail with headers, if you don't know who they are, or just the e-mail if you do, and I will give them a chance to apologize or be removed from the site.
I haven't the vaguest clue why anyone wouldn't like you. You are sweet to people, as a rule, and try really hard.
I know one columnist here thinks the absolute world of you, and has told me so on more than one occasion.

Also, please tell me more about the competition idea you mentioned. I have been thinking about this as well, and want to see if your ideas and mine are the same. If so, maybe you can help me figure out how to fix it.
Remember: No matter what ANYONE else has said or done... *I* think you are of great value to this site, both as a person and a columnist. And remember... as far as this site goes, the ONLY opinions of your worth that count, are mine and yours.
Mine because if I really didn't like you, you would be gone. So you know that isn't true.
Yours because if you don't feel worthy to be here, there is something wrong and one of us needs to fix it. If I did something, tell me.
