I met this guy at a school basketball game and the moment i saw him i fell head over heels for him. We exchanged numbers and sn's. We started talking more and more, to the point we were up until like four in the morning. finally, he confessed that he was in LOVE with me...but he has a girlfriend. He says he's not happy with her and he's told me that he loves me. However, he claims he can't break up with her for "social" reasons. HE's super sweet and amazing. And he's asking me to wait for him, for how long i have no idea. He expexts me to be single and satisfied with text messages and im's, but only waves when he sees me....what do I do?

well, you want him to be single..
and he's not
so he should be a little more flexible on what he is telling you to be.
i think that if he really liked you, he would break it off with his girlfriend.. and what are those social reasons exactly?
he shouldnt care about what people would think of him. As long as he is nice and does the right thing, he should be able to do whatever he wants.
ask him if he really likes you..
and tell him how you feel.
also, you have the right to like other guys. and if he has a problem with that.. then he would know how you feel, right?
