brushes

i just downloaded a lot of brushes for GIMP, but when i unzipped them, and put them in a folder they didn't show up. now i have NO brushes at all, not even the regular ones. i tried to put them in the folder C:\Program Files\GIMP-2.0\share\gimp\2.0\brushes but it says that the folder doesn't exist.

how can i get my brushes on gimp :[[[

Reinstall the GIMP. Download the brushes again. They should have the extension GBR, after you extract them to the desktop. Open my computer. Navigate to C:, then program files, then gimp-2.0, then share, then gimp, then 2.0, then brushes. Drag the GBR files into this folder. The brushes should now appear. If it still doesn't work, ask me a private question, including screenshots and more info.
