A Guy I Like. How Do You Interpret This? 15/f (16 soon)
Info: There's this guy, his name is Jeff and he is the same age as me. We met once during the summer through a mutual friend. This friend happens to be my best friend and at the time she "liked" him. I just came along so she wouldn't be alone because we live two hours away from him (she's known him for years but moved). Ever since then, me and Jeff have been talking over MSN. My friend moved on and she said it was okay if I liked him.
My friend finally told him I like him and that I'm going to move on if he doesn't make more of an attempt to hang out with me (at least meet half way). I thought he knew but he knows my friend and I did have a big of a fight over him in the past so he tries to stay out of it.
Question: He's always there when I want to talk but he said "I like helping people feel better and I let her talk to me." Does this imply he's just doing it to be nice? Or does he actually like me? He's calling in sick at work and begging his dad to let him see me THIS WEEKEND. Was that just the reality check he needed?
Sorry that was so long! Help is greatly appreciated! =)

I think that he does like you. Most guys sare under the impression that girls don't like them until they're told that they do. If your friend told him then he knows you're intrested and he's just biding his time. Worry less and try to spend time with him.
If you do seem him this weekend, flirt a little, but leave the main decision up to him. If he steps up, great. If he backs down then you get your chance to move on. ]
