or like the book Twlight ?
Please name a couple becasue i'm going back to books-a-million sometime this week and i wanted to know of any books I should look forward to.
I am 14/f
Or any books like oh my goth.
He has many good books, but I will give you a couple of examples with a bit of a description.
By the way, if you've seen the movie already, keep in mind that the book is BY FAR better. I hate the movies- they are only a fraction of the actual story he wrote.
The Shining
A family of 3 stays alone in a hotel up in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado that gets snowed in every winter. They are there for the husband to be the caretaker. The boy has a special talent that brings the hotel to life, but not in a good way...
Carrie
An unpopular, outcast teen girl discovers she has the power of telekinesis. Some of the girls at her highschool tease her and treat her so terrible, but she ends up getting the best of all of them on prom night...
Pet Semetary
A doctor, his wife and 2 children move outside of a small town in Maine. Their friendly neighbor introduces them to the Pet Semetary, but when the family pet gets run over in the highway, he introduces the doctor to a powerful, abandoned Indian burial ground beyond it. The evil power of the burial ground causes the doctor and his family nothing but grief, yet he is foolishly drawn to it. "Sometimes dead is better..."
Like I said, you may have seen these movies and know the basic plot of the stories, but I promise you will be far more satisfied with the books. They are scarier and far more entertaining.
If you like these, there are a lot more where they came from. He has written over 40 books, including those he wrote under the pen name Richard Bachman.
