ammo answered Sunday March 25 2007, 1:59 pm: There are many types of creams, pills etc around that are supposedly supposed to help in delaying ejaculation but on how well they work I can only guess I'm afraid. My immediate recommendation however would be the use of condoms (in particular the thicker extra safe ones) as they reduce sensitivity and may help to last longer. Masturbating is different to that of actual intercourse so you may find that during intercourse you don't actually have this problem at all. If you do though then one way is to focus your mind on something else during intercourse as this sometimes works really well in lasting longer. However, if this also does not work and you feel it is a serious problem then I would strongly suggest seeking professional help in the matter as they would be better qualified to help you.
EDIT: How safe pills and creams are to use I cannot say - I am not a medical expert nor qualified to respond to that kind of question but I would think they are safe. My recommendation before using any such things if you are worried about side effects is to seek medical help from your doctor as they would be able to better inform you about their safety and side effects (particularly if you have any allergies).
