Bases are stuff that makes your makeup stick. I know Almay and MAC make them.
But before you go and spend all your money on one, try putting a little bit of foundation on your eyelids before applying eyeshadow. It makes shadow stay a LOT longer, at least for me. You could also try using a soft eyeliner as a shadow.

something thats less expensive and that you probably already have is foundatiin. put some on your eyelids before you put on your eyeshadow and it works just as well as a base you would buy.
